Managing Director

With over 30 years in the oil business, Dave Mott became our Managing Director in 2024, and is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the business. He started with SAR Lubricants in 2014 as Director of Technical Services, tasked with improving the quality and scope of the automotive and commercial vehicle product ranges. This extended to obtaining OEM approvals for many of the improved products, and to ensuring compliance with all relevant Global and European industry standards and ISO quality requirements.

Sales Director

Sales Director, Chris Dutton, has over 40 years of experience, both in management and the lubricants industry. Chris’s main role is to oversee sales activity, but he also supports with new product development, ensuring products meet customer demand. Chris is passionate about training and has implemented a range of training modules to educate customers on safety and best practice. He has an excellent knowledge and understanding of businesses from local to international level, having worked for SMEs and large organisations operating globally in the lubricants sector.

Global Export Manager

As Global Export Manager at SAR Lubricants, Pedro Lima’s focus is on appointing distributor partners across the globe to represent our range of products. Pedro has over two decades of experience working in sales and exports, specialising in the sale and export of industrial oil lubricants, the automotive sector, and he previously set up his own estate agency business. He has an MBA from the University of Bradford, and a postgraduate degree in city planning management from Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona. 

Our production team is dedicated to producing top quality lubricants and greases to suit our customer’s needs. Using high-quality base stocks and additives, our production team are all experts in their craft.

As an independent blender, we can offer flexibility in volumes as well as being able to blend bespoke formulations, tailor-made for specific applications. We also offer a white-labelling service for our products.

Our experienced sales team is passionate about finding the right products to meet our customers’ needs and will work closely with you to supply the most effective solutions for your needs.   

We also offer training in SAR Products, Basic Lubricant Training and Fluid Management Cutting Fluids. In addition to this you can request a lubrications survey from the team that will ensure to you that you are using the products safely and correctly for the type of equipment and vehicle. Our product training is available for selected areas of the market or a combination, depending on a customer’s requirements.

At SAR Lubricants, our transport and logistics team is focussed on providing a prompt and efficient delivery service. Our delivery fleet is operated by experienced drivers, full-time drivers using 18-tonne vehicles and large delivery vans to get your products to you.  

In addition, if you need express services and deliveries to less accessible areas of the UK, we can provide this using our experienced carrier partners. We also work with a network of distributors, both in the UK and worldwide, to supply our wide range of lubricants and greases to our customers.
