SAR Lubricants Achieves Volvo VDS-5 and Renault RLD-5 Approvals for SYNMAX OMEGA XFE 5W-30

SAR Lubricants is proud to announce that its premium heavy-duty engine oil, SYNMAX OMEGA XFE 5W-30, has received official approval against the latest Volvo VDS-5 and Renault RLD-5 specifications. 

These approvals mark a significant milestone for the business and further demonstrate SAR Lubricants’ commitment to delivering advanced lubricant technology that meets the increasingly demanding requirements of modern commercial vehicle manufacturers and fleet operators worldwide. 

Volvo VDS-5 and Renault RLD-5 represent the latest generation of heavy-duty diesel engine oil specifications, developed to support enhanced fuel efficiency, reduced emissions and improved engine durability in modern Euro VI engines. Achieving these approvals requires lubricants to successfully complete extensive laboratory and engine testing programmes, validating performance in critical areas including wear protection, oxidation control, piston cleanliness, soot handling and fuel economy.

SYNMAX OMEGA XFE 5W-30 is suitable for use in modern heavy-duty diesel engines equipped with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) and Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) systems.
