Due to continued expansion of our metalworking fluid sales and support services we are actively seeking a Metalworking Fluid Technician to join our existing team servicing our key customers.
Job Description & Key Duties
To provide technical service support activities visiting our customers in the North and Midlands, UK regions to ensure our metalworking fluids, production lubricants, greases, cleaners, and other SAR industrial fluids are maintained in optimal condition helping customers to focus on their manufacturing processes.
You will provide our customers with the agreed on site service support, mainly focused on testing, taking remedial actions and advising on all our product related issues and therefore developing a strong relationship with our customer.
The position of Service Engineer is split into 2 parts.
The key focus is to help customers to maintain their manufacturing processes, by providing an agree service level, mainly focused on HSE monitoring & control, taking remedial actions and advising on product related issues.
Responsibilities
Responsible for the day-to-day routine HSE monitoring & control of fluids on site and take remedial action when required
Report all remedial actions & additive adjustments to key customer personnel – on key customer site, these activities will be conducted by you
Acquire, record, and analyse product test data and monitor product usage using our bespoke cloud-based software application
Ensure all duties are carried out safely and efficiently as per regulations and customer expectations
Maintain constant communication with the SAR teams involved and the main customer stakeholders
Preparing and cleaning CNC machine systems for trialling our metalworking fluids at each customer sites
Requirements
A valid driving license is a must. Possess good basic computer skills: Microsoft Word and Excel.
Previous manufacturing environment experience is desirable
