SARCOOL TEC 8240 is a blend of new vegetable based technology and premium traditional lubricity additives to yield a very high performance, low management metal removal fluid. This premium emulsion product is robust enough to deliver extended useful life and avoid rancid odours normally associated with traditional emulsions. The optimised lubricity and extreme pressure package delivers exceptional surface finish and tool life on difficult to machine aluminium alloys, inconel, titanium, stainless and high tensile strength steels.

SARCOOL TEC 8240 is designed with outstanding lubricity characteristics ensuring it is suitable for use on a majority of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, without the requirement for traditional extreme pressure additives. An excellent choice for machine shops attempting to find one product to meet the challenges of the entire facility.

Fluid Maintenance

To check and maintain fluid concentration a refractometer is recommended, the resulting reading multiplied by the refractometer conversion factor will give the actual concentration strength. Maintaining a consistent concentration is paramount to prolonging the fluid sump life. To promote long service life, it is strongly advised that coolant systems are thoroughly sterilised with a System Cleaner prior to coolant changes (see Sarsol System Cleaner Technical Data Sheet for further information and guidelines).
